WRIGHT COUNTY, M.N. – Today, Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) announced that funding for two Wright County infrastructure projects passed the House of Representatives as part of the appropriations process for fiscal year 2024.

“This funding will ensure that safe, clean water is available in Wright County for years to come. We will continue our effort to bring taxpayer dollars home to Minnesota,” said Emmer.

Included in the House bill for the Interior, Environment and Related Agencies was $2.24 million in funding for St. Michael’s Wastewater Treatment Plan project and $1.52 million for Otsego’s improvements to its Drinking Water Treatment Facility

Background 
Since 2021, the House Committee on Appropriations has considered Member requests for community project funding. During the 2022 and 2023 fiscal years, Emmer helped deliver $13,385,000 in federal funding for infrastructure projects in Wright County.
