Washington, D.C. - Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) today announced the U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded Anoka County a $40,000,000 grant for the construction of two new grade-separated county highway overpasses of US Highway 10/169 and the parallel freight and commuter rail line. The project will address the ongoing concerns posed by the Ramsey Boulevard and Sunfish Lake Boulevard intersections, and includes new local frontage road connections.

WASHINGTON – Today, the Task Force on Financial Technology held a virtual hearing on the role that new technologies, like the digital dollar, play in fostering greater financial inclusion for the underbanked. These emerging technologies also offer a solution for swiftly disbursing government assistance—such as stimulus payments—to Americans with limited access to traditional banking services.
