WASHINGTON – As first reported by Fox News, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) today introduced the Stop Citizenship Abuse and Misrepresentation (SCAM) Act to clarify what evidence the government can use when proving an individual did not meet the lawful requirements at the time of their naturalization.
Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) joined Congressman Pete Stauber (R-Minn.) in sending a letter to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on the findings that one-third of Minnesota’s non-domiciled commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs) were issued illegally. Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach (R-Minn.), Congressman Brad Finstad (R-Minn.), and fourteen other U.S. House Republicans signed Stauber’s letter as well.

This comes after Chief Judge Patrick Schiltz of the District of Minnesota announced he will take semi-retired status next summer.
