At the hearing, Whip Emmer questioned Minnesota State Representatives Marion Rarick, Walter Hudson, and Kristin Robbins about Tim Walz and Keith Ellison’s refusal to address fraud in the Somali community, as well as claims that Tim Walz knew about the fraud and retaliated against whistleblowers.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) joined Congressman Pete Stauber (R-Minn.) in sending a letter to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on the findings that one-third of Minnesota’s non-domiciled commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs) were issued illegally. Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach (R-Minn.), Congressman Brad Finstad (R-Minn.), and fourteen other U.S. House Republicans signed Stauber’s letter as well.

This comes after Chief Judge Patrick Schiltz of the District of Minnesota announced he will take semi-retired status next summer.

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman Tom Emmer led the Minnesota Republican congressional delegation in a letter to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz requesting that the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) adhere to Title IX and reverse their policies that allow students to compete in athletics based on their “gender identity or expressions,” allowing biological boys to compete in girls’ sports.
