Emmer, Minnesota Republican Delegation Issue Statement on Nomination of Daniel Rosen to serve as U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06), along with Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08), Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach (MN-07), and Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01) announced that a nominations committee will reconvene to interview and recommend candidates to President Trump for the United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. This comes after Chief Judge Patrick Schiltz of the District of Minnesota announced he will take semi-retired status next summer.

Washington, D.C. – Today, the House of Representatives considered and passed Congressman and Majority Whip Tom Emmer’s flagship legislation, the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act.

In a vote of 219-210, the House of Representatives passed Emmer’s bill, which prohibits the Federal Reserve from issuing a central bank digital currency (CBDC) and codifies President Trump’s Executive Order to forbid federal agencies from exploring their development.
