Washington, D.C. – Last night, Congressman Tom Emmer’s Securities Clarity Act and elements of the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act (BRCA) passed out of the House Financial Services Committee markup after being included in the CLARITY Act. The CLARITY Act was reported favorably to the House floor, an important step toward passing the legislation through Congress.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Tom Emmer spoke in support of the CLARITY Act during a House Financial Services Committee Hearing entitled, “American Innovations and the Future of Digital Assets: From Blueprint to a Functional Framework.” Congressman Emmer is an original cosponsor of the CLARITY Act. Congressman Emmer is the Co-Chairman of the Congressional Crypto Caucus and serves as the Vice Chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology, and Artificial Intelligence.

This event will serve as an opportunity for constituents of Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District to receive a legislative update from Congressman Emmer, ask questions, and share their input.

Washington, D.C. – Last week, Congressman Emmer led the entire Minnesota Republican congressional delegation in a letter to the leadership of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies urging them to fully defund the Department of Education in their Fiscal Year 2026 Appropriations bill.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) led a letter to the leadership of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense urging them to include report language regarding oversight of Osprey aircraft crashes in the Fiscal Year 2026 Defense Appropriations bill. Congressman Emmer was joined in the effort by Congressman Glenn Grothman (WI-06).

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Emmer led the entire Minnesota Republican congressional delegation in a letter to the leadership of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development urging them to eliminate federal funding for the Northstar Commuter Rail, the Blue Line Light Rail Extension, and the Northern Lights Express commuter line.
