Emmer Statement on Minnesota Delegation Resolution to Condemn the attacks on Minnesota Lawmakers Passes the House of Representatives

Washington, D.C. – Today, the House of Representatives passed a resolution to formally condemn the attacks on Minnesota Lawmakers Melissa Hortman and John Hoffman, call for unity, and reject political violence in Minnesota and across the United States. Congressman Emmer cosponsored the resolution along with every member of the Minnesota Congressional Delegation.

“In the midst of tragedy, we are reminded that there is far more that unites us than divides us. As we continue to mourn the loss of Melissa and Mark Hortman and pray for the full recovery of the Hoffman family, Congress stands together to condemn the politically motivated attack perpetrated against them. There is no place in America for political violence—none," Congressman Emmer said.
