ST. CLOUD, M.N. – Today, Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) sat down with members of the Disabled American Veterans of Minnesota at VFW Post 428 to provide updates on the work being done to support disabled veterans and their families.
“These heroes have made tremendous sacrifices in defense of our country, and it’s our duty to take care of them when they return home,” Emmer said.
“We are proud of the work we have done so far in the 118th Congress to support disabled veterans and their families, and we are just getting started,” Emmer concluded.
Emmer has been a strong supporter of improving healthcare services for veterans. During the 118th Congress, Congressman Emmer supported the passage of the RELIEVE Act. This bill expands community care options for veterans requiring emergency treatment, enabling them to receive care at local hospitals in times of urgent need.
