CARVER COUNTY, M.N. – Today, Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) announced that funding for a Carver County infrastructure project had passed the House of Representatives.

“This funding will ensure Minnesotans’ water is clean and represents our continued effort to invest in essential Carver County infrastructure,” said Emmer.  

$2.24 million for New Germany’s Wastewater Treatment Facility was included in the House Interior, Environment and Related Agencies appropriations bill. 

Background
Since 2021, the House Committee on Appropriations has considered Member requests for community project funding. During the 2022 and 2023 fiscal years, Emmer has helped deliver $40 million in federal funding for infrastructure projects in Carver County.
