Project Summary: 

The project includes improvements to the City of New Germany's wastewater treatment facility to be able to meet MPCA requirements and add permits. The project would allow the facility to come into compliance with MPCA phosphorous limits.

Background Information: 

The current facility does not meet MPCA requirements and will remain out of compliance until this improvement project can be completed. The City is also not able to add any permits because of the non-compliance, which means that businesses in town are not able to expand and no new homes can be built.
