Otsego, MN - Today, Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) issued the following statement regarding the ongoing fire at the Northern Metal Recycling plant in Becker, MN, located in Minnesota's Sixth Congressional District. 

"My staff and I continue to monitor the situation in Becker, and have been in contact with the company, state, and local elected officials, as well as Becker Police and Fire Departments to offer our assistance. We remain available and committed to ensuring that the community receives any support and resources necessary to resolve the situation and move forward."

“Thank you to all the police, firefighters, and first responders who came together to protect individuals and our community. We are grateful for your tireless efforts through this unfortunate event, and for your steadfast commitment to keep Becker and the surrounding communities safe."
