Recent reports show a backlog of paper tax returns with no clear timeline for processing

Otsego, MN - Today, Congressman Tom Emmer announced an award of $4,412,890 under the Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Program for the replacement, rehabilitation, and acquisition of buses throughout Minnesota, including in the Sixth Congressional District. This grant was one of 96 selected projects throughout the country. 

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my father, Thomas Earl Emmer Sr. who suffered a stroke earlier this week at the age of 81.  Tom Emmer Sr. – “The Original” Tom Emmer as I liked to call him - was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and member of his community. He will be missed by many, but remembered for his commitment to his God, his wife of 60 years, Patsy Emmer, his family, and his country.”

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman David Schweikert (AZ-06), Co-Chair of the Congressional Blockchain Caucus, along with Caucus Co-Chairs Congressman Bill Foster (IL-11), Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06), and Congressman Darren Soto (FL-09) sent a letter to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) asking for guidance on the taxation of “block rewards” in a proof of stake network.
