I would like to thank Speaker Boehner for his work and leadership in the 114th Congress. It was an honor to work with him during my first nine months in Washington.”

As many of you are probably aware, videos have recently surfaced highlighting horrendous, disturbing and potentially illegal activity by Planned Parenthood.  These actions are unacceptable and reprehensible, and I am deeply troubled by the current allegations that Planned Parenthood profits from the sale of body parts of children. Let that sentence sink in for a moment.

Washington, D.C. --  Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) today voted in support of H.R. 3134, the Defund Planned Parenthood Act, of which he is a cosponsor.

Washington, D.C. --  Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) today signed on as an original cosponsor of the VA Billing Accountability Act. Congressman John Kline (MN-02), who serves on the House Armed Services Committee, introduced this legislation.

Over the summer, nearly 1,500 veterans from around Minnesota and Wisconsin received notice from their local Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VA) regarding previously unbilled co-payments from care provided as far as five years ago.
