“House Democrats’ partisan infrastructure package focuses more on imposing costly Green New Deal regulations and removing state control over infrastructure development than it does investing in the roads and bridges Minnesotans and Americans use every day. We need to fix our nation’s aging infrastructure, but today’s package is far from what the American people want, need, or deserve.”

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) announced a postponement to his telephone town hall scheduled for June 30. This announcement comes following a change in the House of Representatives vote schedule.
Upon learning that votes are now scheduled to occur during the telephone town hall, on the evening of June 30, Congressman Emmer issued the following statement:

2021 has been a strong year for Minnesota Hockey: all five of our Division-1 men’s hockey teams made the NCAA Ice Hockey Tournament, three advanced to the Frozen Four and the Sixth District’s own St. Cloud State University Huskies made it to the final.

Washington, D.C. - On May 12, 2021, Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) led a bipartisan letter calling on Chairman Richard Jones of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) to establish more accurate accounting standards for companies with digital asset holdings. On June 24, the FASB announced that they have opened an Invitation to Comment (ITC) to allow stakeholders the opportunity to provide feedback on their attempt to develop these accounting standards. Comments will be accepted until September 22, 2021.
