Otsego, MN – The Office of Congressman Tom Emmer has begun accepting applications for the 2025 Congressional Art Competition.

“This is a great opportunity for high school students to showcase their talents with the chance to have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol. Every year, we look forward to seeing the impressive work done by young artists from across the Sixth District, and we look forward to reviewing this year’s submissions,” Congressman Tom Emmer said.

The Congressional Art Competition is an annual contest for high school students across the United States. Every spring, Representatives accept submissions from students in their district, with the winning submissions being displayed in the halls of Congress for an entire year. The winning student will also have the chance to travel to Washington, D.C. to see their art on display and meet their Representative and other young artists from across the country.

Sixth District students from grades 9-12 are encouraged to participate. All participants should deliver their submissions to Congressman Emmer’s district office in Otsego by Wednesday, April 23rd at 6:00 pm. More information on the Congressional Art Competition is available here.
