Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Tom Emmer announced that Tiny Thinkers has been selected as the winner of the Congressional App Challenge for Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District. The application was developed by Suditya Singh of Blaine and Muskan Singh of Eden Prairie and uses videos and quizzes to help children with autism develop social and emotional skills.
“In our increasingly digital world, supporting science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) skills opens new doors for young students. We are always impressed by the innovation and promise shown by Sixth District students and are encouraged to see young people using the power of technology to help fellow Minnesotans and their communities. Congratulations to Muskan and Suditya,” Congressman Tom Emmer said.
Tiny Thinkers will be displayed in the United States Capitol Building for a full year and will be featured on the House of Representatives website. Muskan and Suditya have also earned invitations to the #HouseOfCode Capitol Hill reception in Washington, D.C.
