Otsego, M.N. – Today, Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) presented four-year-old Asher Milless of Orrick Township, Minnesota with a Congressional Record statement in his honor.

In November, Asher saved his mother’s life during a medical emergency. When Rachel Milless collapsed in her kitchen, Asher called his grandmother, opened the front door for first responders, and even got her nebulizer working while they were waiting for help to arrive.

Emmer said, “Asher demonstrated quick thinking and bravery that would be impressive for any of us. Our community is blessed to have such a courageous kid.”

In recognition of his heroism, Asher was recently presented with the Life Saving Award by the Sherburne County Sherriff’s Office.

The Congressional Record is the official account of the proceedings of the United States Congress. Emmer’s statement in Asher’s honor will be a permanent part of this record. You can access the complete Congressional Record for the 118th Congress here, and read Emmer’s statement in full here.
