Otsego, MN – Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) announced today that his office will once again be accepting submissions for the annual Congressional Art Competition.

“The Congressional Art Competition is a tradition that my office participates in every year, and we enjoy showcasing the talent that hails from Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District! The first place winner will have their artwork displayed in the halls of the United States Capitol for a year. My office loves participating in this contest, and I am looking forward to reviewing this year’s great submissions,” Emmer said.

Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition for high school students throughout the United States. Since 1982, the program has operated in Congressional districts across the country, with more than 650,000 students participating.

All artwork must be submitted to Emmer’s Otsego office by April 9, 2021. Interested students should visit this website or call the district office at 763-241-6848 for more information.
