Otsego, MN – Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) announced today that his office will once again be accepting submissions for the annual Congressional Art Competition.

“The Congressional Art Competition is a tradition that my office participates in every year, and it is one I very much enjoy as it gives us a chance to showcase the talent that hails from Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District,” said Emmer. “In addition to having their artwork displayed in the halls of the Capitol for a year, the first place winner will have a chance to travel to Washington D.C. to meet with me and see their artwork displayed in person. I am looking forward to receiving all of the artwork and due to all of last year’s great submissions, I am positive the competition will be tight this year.”

All artwork must be submitted to Emmer’s Otsego office by May 1, 2017. The winning artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol. Interested students should visit emmer.house.gov/services/art-competition or call my district office at 763-241-6848 for more information.
