Washington, D.C. - Today Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) launched a new web page on his official website to offer updates and resources to Minnesotans on COVID-19 (coronavirus).

"I have been in touch with officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Governor Walz's office and members of the Administration to ensure Minnesota is prepared and informed for the COVID-19 virus. This page will keep our community updated on the latest information on prevention and treatment." said Emmer.

"I am committed to ensuring Minnesotans have the resources they need to stay healthy. So far, there has been no indication of community spread of the virus in our communities and containment seems likely." Emmer concluded.

Last week, Congressman Emmer voted to pass legislation providing $8.3 billion in emergency funding to combat COVID-19 (coronavirus), including funding for response efforts, vaccine development, and critical diagnostic and testing supplies.
