Washington, D.C. – Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) released the following statement:

“Out of an abundance of caution, I have decided to self-quarantine at home after being informed that I had prolonged close contact with a family friend who recently tested positive for the coronavirus. I am not exhibiting symptoms and look forward to returning to work as soon as appropriate. Until that time, I will record my views on any missed votes in the Congressional Record. I will not allow someone who has not been elected by the residents of Minnesota's 6th District to cast my vote through Nancy Pelosi's unconstitutional proxy scheme."
