Otsego, MN – Today, Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) announced that his office will be hosting a Service Academy Night for individuals interested in applying for a nomination to one of our nation’s service academies.

“Our service academies produce some of the best and brightest young men and women that serve in our armed forces, and I am honored to assist them with the nomination process,” said Emmer. “These young people make a lasting commitment to our country, and I am proud to play a small supporting role in their journey to become future leaders.”

The meeting will give interested students the opportunity to learn about the application process as well as the Congressional nomination process. Representatives from the United States Military Academy at West Point, the United States Air Force Academy, the United States Naval Academy, and the United States Merchant Marine Academy will be available to answer questions about the application and nomination process.
