Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Emmer hosted representatives of Advanced Volumetric Alliance (AVA), located in Albertville, at the House Committee on Small Business’s Small Business Showcase. Held during Small Business Week, the Small Business Showcase highlights small businesses from across the nation, recognizing their role in driving economic growth and fostering innovation.
“Minnesota is home to more than half a million small businesses that create good-paying jobs and drive our state's economy. We were proud to showcase AVA's workforce and innovative approach to housing needs, and thank them for the great work they do to support Albertville and Wright County,” Congressman Emmer said.
"AVA stands out as a remarkably innovative small business which is catapulting property development to a new level. The efficiency and utility they're bringing to bear on the market is adding tremendous value at a time when the industry needs such a boost," State Representative Walter Hudson (HD30A) said.
“We have enjoyed meeting with Representative Emmer, and being part of the small business showcase. The opportunity the event provided to explore working together to grow the impact of businesses in Minnesota and around the country were numerable,” said Brian Nicholson, AVA.

Advanced Volumetric Alliance designs, engineers, and manufactures full volumetric modular units, focused on multi-family living, senior living, and the hospitality industry. Volumetric construction involves the joining of factory-finished modules to form a complete building, such as an apartment building or senior living facility. The company opened a new, 180,000-square-foot, all-indoor, manufacturing facility in the Spring of 2022 which Congressman Emmer visited in early 2023.
