We know that every Minnesotan is feeling the pressure of these high prices. Eggs are up 39.6%, milk is up 25.6%, bread is up 16.2%, and food at workplaces and schools is up 23.7%. Sadly, this has led to Americans skipping meals and going hungry.

Washington, D.C.— Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) and U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) led the entire Minnesota delegation in a bicameral, bipartisan letter to Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Secretary Denis McDonough urging to improve veterans’ ability to receive emergency care.

“Hunting and fishing are a part of America’s heritage, one shared by generations of sportsmen and women,” Emmer said, “

One in four girls and one in six boys will be sexually abused before they turn 18 years old. Additionally, 34% of people who sexually abuse a child are family members, often complicating the reporting and justice process.

Emmer said, “When the most vulnerable among us are victimized, they are too often forced to suffer in silence.”

Emmer said, "Everyday investors fuel innovation and serve an essential role in our economy.

America’s workers have always been one of our greatest strengths. However, the last few years have presented new challenges to the growth and long-term strength of our labor force. From pandemic lockdowns and the ensuing business closures, our workers have shown true resiliency through these difficult times.
