ST. CLOUD, M.N. – In a continued effort to support the health and well-being of Minnesota veterans, Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) visited the St. Cloud Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center today.

It was a pleasure to meet with the VA’s staff to discuss their important work to ensure that our veterans are getting the best quality care,” Emmer said.

“We are grateful to Crown College for their continued work to provide top-notch, faith-led higher education here in the Sixth District. Access to education that reflects our religious is a right, and deserves to be protected,” Emmer said.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) is continuing his longtime advocacy for greater access to mental health resources for rural Americans. Recently, Emmer led colleagues in a letter urging for the reauthorization of the FRSAN in this year’s Farm Bill.

“Americans living in rural areas and those working in the ag industry are facing acute mental health challenges and urgently need support,” Emmer said. “We are proud to continue our years-long effort to provide resources for rural and mental health care.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (MN-06) celebrated the passage of Representative Warren Davidson’s (OH-08) Middle-Class Borrower Protection Act. Emmer was an original cosponsor of the bill.

“Americans are already struggling after years of President Biden’s failing economy. Homeownership already feels out of reach and now this administration wants to subsidize individuals with a history of financial irresponsibility and penalize Americans who have worked hard to build strong credit,” said Emmer.

Last month, Elizabeth’s artwork Portrait of a Young Girl was chosen as winner of the contest.
