Emmer Joins Resolution to Recognize Fallen Officers During National Police Week

Washington, D.C.— Today, Congressman Emmer announced his support for a resolution recognizing National Police Week and paying tribute to the 619 officers, including three Minnesotans, who gave their lives in the line of duty in 2021. 

“Police officers are devoted to keeping our communities safe. We owe these brave men and women our recognition and gratitude,” Emmer said.

The resolution was led by Representatives Julia Letlow (LA-05) and Michael Guest (MS-03) and supported by 77 additional co-sponsors.
