Washington, D.C. – Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06) announced today that he will be holding two town halls during the month of August. The first event for the month will be held in Washington County and the second will be held in Benton County.
Last year, Congressman Emmer held a town hall in every county within his district in order to remain accountable, transparent and accessible – and this year will be no different.
“My role as a Representative is to listen to and serve the fine people of Minnesota’s Sixth District, so it is imperative that I hear their questions and concerns directly,” said Emmer. “That is why I place such a high importance on town halls – there is no better way to hear from the people. I am very much looking forward to these next few town halls and hope to see many of you there.”
