CSAH 1 & Storm St. NE Improvements Project

Total Project Cost: $4,300,000 

Project Summary: 

This project is for the design and construction of essential infrastructure improvements including roadway, storm water, and utility improvements to provide safe and improved multi-modal access to Mayhew Creek Regional Sports Complex, the existing Sauk Rapids-Rice High School, and Early Childhood and Community Center. The project would reconstruct Storm St. NE and construct a single-lane roundabout at Benton County CSAH 1 (Mayhew Lake Road) and Storm St. NE.

Background Information: 

This project would provide essential infrastructure improvements, including providing safe pedestrian and vehicle options for students, residents, and visitors to the park and district campuses. The intersection of CSAH 1 and Storm St. NE is the entrance to many essential businesses that require safe and efficient access. Mayhew Creek Park is highly used by students, residents and visitors and will draw more users as more amenities are developed.
