This project would implement the construction of a new water tower that would be located on city owned property. The city’s water demands are approaching levels that exceed its water storage capacity. A new water tower is needed infrastructure to foster economic development, including growth in residential and commercial development. This project will deliver essential water storage in Waite Park to support fire protection and accommodate ongoing residential and industrial growth.

Background Information: 

Over the past twenty years, the City of Waite Park's population has steadily increased as well as their demand for a reliable water supply. Reliable water storage is crucial for building a resilient municipal water system to support current and future growth. The proposed water tower storage facility will give the city the capacity it needs to address peak daily demand, keep system pressure consistent, bolster fire protection, and maintain service even during emergencies.
