City of Cokato West Sewer and Water Main Extension Project

Funding Requested: $4,800,000    

Total Project Cost: $6,000,000 

Project Summary: 

The project will include constructing an additional water main and sewer lines running along US Highway 12. The project will promote more economic development along the Highway 12 corridor, replacing the sewer line to Dassel Cokato High School by relocating it along the highway. 

Background Information: 

This project will support additional growth in the city and replace aging infrastructure to better support Dassel Cokato High School and the community as a whole. Additionally, many of the existing businesses and residences along the corridor have expressed interest in connecting to public utilities which can not be done without these improvements.
