Emmer Statement on Confirmation of Daniel Rosen as U.S. Attorney for Minnesota

Washington, D.C. – Congressman and Majority Whip Tom Emmer issued the below statement following the United States Senate’s confirmation of Daniel Rosen to serve as U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota.

“We are pleased to see that Dan Rosen, a distinguished attorney with an unwavering commitment to public safety, has been confirmed as the United States Attorney for the District of Minnesota. We are confident that Mr. Rosen will fight to protect Minnesotans, and their hard-earned tax dollars, from the scourge of crime and fraud we’ve seen in our state. We were proud to support Dan and thank our colleagues in the Senate for advancing his nomination,” Emmer said.

In January, Congressman Tom Emmer led the Minnesota Republican Delegation in forming a nominations committee to assist in making recommendations to President Trump for candidates to serve as U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota. Rosen was one of three individuals recommended to the president. The nominations committee was chaired by former Minnesota Supreme Court Justice G. Barry Anderson.
